Shaping Your Words Into High-Impact Publications.
They say publish or perish. Don’t go it alone. I provide developmental editing to help you build a robust publication pipeline, whether it’s preparing a strong manuscript to submit to a journal, editing your R&R, or turning your dissertation chapters into high-impact journal articles.
Is this you?
You juggle a heavy teaching load, home life, and multiple research projects, and it’s a struggle to get your articles published in time for tenure.
You got an R&R, but you’re not sure how to satisfy the reviewers’ requests for changes to your manuscript.
Your article got rejected because the reviewers said the framing is not right, or there is a disconnect between your theory and your findings.
You don’t belong to a close-knit research group, and you struggle alone figuring out how to make massive structural changes to your manuscript.
I was once where you are now.
I have experienced the harsh demands of publishing high-impact research articles. As a graduate student and early on the tenure-track, I struggled to figure out the mechanics of what makes an article publishable. As a current faculty member, I have a high teaching load (6 classes a year!), which I initially struggled to balance with my research.
Despite all this, I have published multiple high-ranking journal articles in my discipline. Two of them rank in the top twenty journals in my field, according to Google Scholar Metrics, and one is a leading flagship journal in my subfield. I specialize in providing developmental editing that will position you to publish in high-impact journals, turnaround an effective R&R, or turn your dissertation chapters into standalone publications.
